Urine drug testing is one of the most popular methods of identifying recent drug use. This method can detect the presence of drugs in urine typically for up to 3-4 days after the drug has entered a person’s system. (Marijuana may vary on usage)

Hair Follicle Testing

Hair Follicle Testing is one of the most trusted ways of testing for the following drugs because it is able to capture one's drug history up to a 90-day period.  It implemented by law enforcement agencies and companies. It is a non-invasive procedure that cuts a small sample of hair at the scalp to evaluate and create an analysis of the drug particles embedded in the strands of hair. 

Drugs that are detected in Hair Follicle Testing:

  • Marijuana (THC)

  • Amphetamines (AMP, mAMP, MDMA & Ecstasy)

  • Cocaine (COC)

  • Oxycodone

  • Opiates (Codeine, Morphine & Heroin Metabolite)

Saliva Testing

Saliva testing aka oral fluid testing is often used to detect recent use of drugs.  It is commonly used by companies, parents, and for sports management to detect drug use that recently took place.  It is non-evasive, simple, and comfortable. Saliva testing is capable to detect drugs used within 24-36 hours.

Drugs that are detected in Saliva testing: 

  • Alcohol - from time of intake to 12 hours.

  • PCP - from a few minutes after ingestion to the next 3 days.

  • Methamphetamine and ecstasy - half an hour from ingestion up to 3 days.

  • Amphetamines - a few minutes to 3 days of consumption.

  • Barbiturates - less than an hour after ingestion up to 3 days.

  • Opiates - from an hour after intake to 3 days.

  • Cocaine - a few minutes after ingestion up to one day.

  • Benzodiazepines - not yet known

  • Cannabis - a few minutes after ingestion up to one day
